The Start
Khoy Textile Factories were established in 1983 by an investment of Industry and Mining bank, to produce 4300 tons of yarn and 10 million meters of fabric per year (clothing, jeans, shirts, etc.) with the aim of employing about 1000 people. This factory is 150 kilometers far from the city centers of West and East Azerbaijan provinces, which can be reached in less than 2 hours by a car. In addition, it is accessible from the capital, Tehran, in 3 or 4 hours by an airplane. One of the special features of Khoy Textile Factory is its nearness to the outlet borders of the country. It is 120 kms far from Bazargan border, 60 kms far from Jolfa border, 65 kms far from Razi border by road (connecting with Van Province of Turkey) and 90 kms by rail, by which the products of this factory can easily be exported to any of above- mentioned borders.

By adding the Indigo unit to the Collection of Khoy Textile Production Cycle, denim fabrics in navy blue and black (in different weights) can be made, that can compete with global markets. Currently, about 80 percent of the knitting unit's production capacity is devoted to the production of denim fabrics.
Four main parts
Spinning Preliminary Elements include blowing machines - Carding - Filter Plants - Waste materials as well as Open End Thread Production Unit of Swiss and Germany. The ring line of these Factories will also be set up soon and currently has three ring machines capable of producing slabs and CORE yarns. These Factories with 12 VOLKMAN and SAURER doubling machines also are able to produce 5 tons of two fold yarns daily.
Bobbin dyeing unit
Knitting Unit
By the presence of modern P7100, P7150, ITEMA, PICANOL and Ghadir knitting machines, various fabrics can be produced. Also, to improve the quality and quantity of fabrics, these factories are changing their old machines, which will soon result in replacing the old machines with modern ones.
The knitting preliminary unit includes:
The pattern wrapping machines and the sizing system, which are all manufactured in Germany and carry out the production of bowstring. In addition, these factories use KARL-MAYER of Germany 2008, for the sake of improving the produced bowstrings.
Indigo unit
With an Indigo machine and a wrapper machine, it is able to produce denim fabrics in black and navy blue colors that can compete with global markets.
For the development of these factories in future, the most complete dyeing machines of the world, which have been purchased from the best brands in the world, will be installed.
